The construction of AKAPP 4-Ductor bases on a duct-lining, in which four cable ducts are prepared for
copper tapes. Flat conductors are installed without joints.

The basic design of AKAPP Click-Ductor is a channel housing, in which 7 slots with copper conductors
are prepared. Standard length of each housing is 4 metre. Connecting housing and copper conductor to
each other can be done very easy and fast by means of special developped copper clamps and plastic
joints. AKAPP Click-Ductor can be installed indoors and outdoors in a wide variety of applications.

Some important characteristics:
Main spring: Made from special alloy spring steel in a controlled manufacturing process to extremely high
standards. Through this, optimal repeatability and long spring life are assured. The spring is mounted
inside a spring housing, which guarantees fast, safe and easy exchange.
Collector sliprings: The collector rings are made of eminent brass. The carbon brushes have a large
surface area, which ensures a perfect contact with the collector rings. Each brush is mounted in a non-
conductive holder. The "click-construction" offers easy mounting of the holder. The modular construction
of the collector ring assembly allows for further rings to be added as required and provide for ease of
servicing.
Cable guide: A guide arm with roller guide (optional accessory) prevents deformation of the cable, e.g.
bending. This increases the service life of the cable.
Benefits from using the guide:
• possibility of many settings even above the maximum angle of 270°,
• fast, easy installation,
• optimal position setting in compliance with position of the cable drum,
• safe setting - guide rollers, which secures the cable against bending.
Ratchet: This feature can be engaged when continuous spring tension is not required, e.g. hand tools.
The position is set in compliance with the cable drum, what quarantees that the drum can not ever be
blocked, when the cable is entirely winded (the drum is ready to store).
Construction: Weather-tight construction, manufactured from aluminium die cast components. Provided
with a corrosion resistant polyester coating in a striking yellow colour. The construction's project has been

Separators: Many types can be fitted out with Nylon dividers and separators. Divide your cables and/or
hoses in separate bundles for a good overview and best performance of the chain (see figure).
Smooth inner surface: The inner surface of the chain is completely smooth, which prevents your cables
and hoses from damaging and thus saves unnecessary replacement!
